FROG is a platform that allows users to track students progress as well as upload work assignments. Setting up FROG for multiple users can be a cumbersome job. We cannot just create multiple tabs and multiple login as it is still technically the same web session. The way to fix this is either use a different browser as it gives a different session. However if you want to do 40 different logins, it is impractical to download 40 different browsers ( If there even exist that many browsers). The clever thing to do is to use a multiple login session browser add-on which in effect creates a virtual browser which allows users to insert different credentials on the same browser. Lets get started.
Step 1
The first step is to download a software called SessionBox for Google Chrome.
Once downloaded, you must create an account so that the software can remember all your login credentials.
Step 2
Once downloaded and setup, its time to begin creating different login sessions.
1. Go to the Frog Website
2. Once the the website is open , SessionBox can create multiple more windows similar to that.
3. Fill in the First Credential and click login. It is very important that you click login before proceeding as they are two different websites to replicate. Although both will work, creating the window during the FROG OS page will ensure your credentials get saved.
4. Once you are in this page, you can now create a new session
5. Click on the Session box icon on the task bar and click new session
6. Again, it is important to create a session with this website or else your credentials wont be saved. It is not vital, but it will save a lot of hassle in the future
7. Once you click on the add button, you will be greeted with a new tab which will look like this. Note the different colours indicating different sessions.
8. Rinse and repeat the steps, until all your credentials are saved. Login, and when the FROG logo appears, create a new login session and you will be greeted with the login window again.
9. When all is done you should get something like this
10. You will be asked after creating every new session to add the names, you can do so to make life more organised and systematic, ultimately its up to you.
11. To login in the future , just click on one of the names and it should automatically take you to the FROG page without entering anymore credentials.
You should be good to go for the future, this setup will work for all websites that you want multiple login. I have to mention that there are many ways and many different softwares that can carry out this task, writing a python script to do all of it automatically every week will be the best way, but it all comes down to how much time do you want to invest doing it. For me, this is the simplest but require human automation which takes time. One can argue setting up a robot once saves all the time in the future.
